-- early 1950s style tooled leather wedge sandals
-- completely hand crafted
-- deep black leather embossed with scrolling blooms
-- peep toe with peek-a-boo opening on each side
-- leather curves over in leaf like layers over the top of the foot
-- sling back with adjustable buckle ankle strap
-- solid wedge heel
-- finished with soft leather sock lining and hard outer soles
Please note: dating these shoes is imprecise due to being handcrafted with no discernible makers mark. The look, style, materials and construction is consistent with early versions but this style has often been reproduced. From my research these would've been hand made in Mexico anywhere from the 1950s through the early 80s! Modern reproductions these are not but I could not verify for certain when they were made.

These hand crafted beauties are structurally sound but do display evidence of wear and age. Most notably to the outer soles and slight compression to the back wedges as pictured. Leather is supple, sock lining fully intact and buckle straps are secure and sturdy.
